Scandinavian countries have long been held in high esteem for their approach to – and successes in – education and childcare. Most recently, Finland has emerged as a leader on the world stage, ranking in the top ten in a recent OECD study of education systems. This study trip will focus on sharing best practice in education and learning, as well as covering other fascinating projects, policies and interventions that support children and young people in their everyday lives.

Delegates are welcome from across sectors and disciplines, and the study visit is open to anyone working with children and young people.
The cost includes: return flights, four nights’ accommodation (on a B&B basis), airport transfers, travel in and around Helsinki via public transport, Children in Scotland staff members’ costs to accompany the group, as well as speaker fees and visits to approximately 15 organisations.
