Identifying and responding to child sexual exploitation

This training workshop will enhance understanding and raise awareness of how children and young people become involved in child sexual exploitation (CSE), looking at the impact of their involvement and how practitioners can respond to provide protection and support.
- Terminology and definitions in relation to CSE
- The key vulnerability factors, risk indicators and spectrum of experiences in relation to CSE
- Strategies to increase confidence in direct work with children and young people regarding CSE
- Recognise the importance of information sharing and multi-agency partnership in responding to children and young people.
Daljeet Dagon has over 20 years of direct practice and management experience working with children, young people and families affected by child sexual exploitation (CSE) and associated issues. As well as managing CSE and intensive family support services, Daljeet provides strategic oversight of CSE for Barnardo’s Scotland.
