The current global pandemic has required us all to adapt and develop new ways of working.
In this zoom-cast, Cath Shaw at Learning Network West is chatting with Karen Armstrong, Practice Learning Co-ordinator with Families Outside which is the only charity in Scotland that works solely on behalf of families affected by imprisonment. Families Outside have continued to provide student placements since they were able to resume in August 2020.
Karen reflects on the key message of the agency - COVID continues but so do we! - in terms of adaptability, renewed resilience and highlights the many benefits of having a student on placement during a global pandemic.
