Talking Social Work

The next meeting of the Tayside and Fife Professional Forum for anyone with an interest in social work will have a focus on Risk, Relationships and Professional Practice.

Three different perspectives will be presented following which there will be an opportunity to explore and discuss the issues raised.

4:50 Risk Relationship and Practice – a perspective from children services (Imogen Hynd, Angus Council)

5:05 Risk relationships and Practice – a perspective from mental health services (TBC)

5:15 Small group discussions and debate

5:45 Large group discussion

6:00 Close Professor Mark Smith, University of Dundee

 

Mark's research interests include residential child care, ethical social work theory and professional education

Imogen Hynd is a social worker, working in a child and family fieldwork team in Angus
