To mark 10 years since the enactment of the Adult Support and Protection (Scotland) Act 2007, Social Work Scotland is holding an event to reflect on learning and developments in practice over the past 10 years and consider future challenges and innovative responses to support and protect adults.
Speakers will include Maureen Watt MSP, Minister for Mental Health; Kathryn McKay University of Stirling; Dr Martin Kettle Glasgow Caledonian University; and Kevin Mitchell, Executive Director on
Scrutiny and Assurance, Care Inspectorate.
The event will provide an opportunity for learning and networking for all service and agencies involved in Adult Support and Protection.
